The Hobonichi Techo was first released in Japan in 2001. Since then, it has grown into a daily companion for people in over 100 countries and regions around the world. Carefully designed and thoughtfully refined each year alongside users, the Hobonichi Techo is known not only for its high-quality Tomoe River Paper and lay-flat stitch binding featuring Japanese craftsmanship, but also for its unique ability to adapt to each person’s way of living. It’s more than just a diary or planner—it’s a “Life Book.”

You’ll be able to explore new collaborations, experience our covers firsthand, browse a selection of accessories, and connect with fellow Techo enthusiasts.

Hobonichi is a Japanese web media company founded by Shigesato Itoi in 1998, and its website has been updated daily since its launch. Hobonichi brings the joy of life to people through a variety of content, from online articles and interviews to in-person events, exhibitions, and original products—including the Hobonichi Techo.

Come join us to find your life companion for the coming year. The pop-up opens 01 September at 11 am. The opening times are between 9 am - 5 pm the rest of the week, with the exception of Sunday 06 September, when the gallery will close at 3 pm. Please note that a queuing system may apply depending on venue capacity.
